Wonka

I got this novel from my friend, Derina, about a month ago as a gift for my thesis defense. The first time i looked at the cover, i got excited about this book already. I read the reviews and found out that this book was about killings and torturing. I was like, whoa okay. Then I started  to read it. The plot of the story is set in France which makes it more interesting. And i flipped pages to pages. I was blown away. This book is genius. Lemaitre tells every single detail about the tortures that the antagonist did. I was not really sure if i could handle this and i didn't know if i could keep reading this, because when i read something, i would imagine things that happen in the story. So of course i imagined the tortures, killings, and the evil things that written in the story. I was all ready to throw up, believe me. That's a complete horror.

This version of cover is even creepier. I say this book is genius because Lemaitre reveals the dark secrets that you haven't thought before at the end of the story, and i'm not saying this generally but i think it's really unpredictable. You should read this. So thank you Derina. This Alex book becomes series, there are Camille, and Irene. So excited.

I'm just posting these photos for my private consumption actually. So i can access these photos again whenever i want if i didn't have any back-up data. And i took them with my Blackberry, so i'm sorry for the not-so-good quality of the pictures. The memories stay in my mind.

These are Louis' photographs. I took so many photos of him because he stood in front of me so often so i can took it easily. Tell you what, he looked a lot better in real life......... and it's not big of a deal when he looked at me for seconds.

Now these are Harry's photographs. He didn't look that charming that night because he pulled back his hair with hair tie, so. As usual, he blew kisses and showered the crowds with mineral water.

This is the one that i was dying to meet, to see very clearly, Niall James Horan. I looked at his face & figures so clearly.

I am so glad and i am so thankful i had the chance to see them live and so clear. I can conclude that Louis & Niall.......what a display of men i've ever seen.......................

This is embarrassing but pleasurable.

I think this is the most heart-breaking breakup in a British relationship history. I mean, the girl is a fashion model/writer/designer/favourite muse of various world brands and the boy is a musician/poetic lyricist. You dont get this kind of combination every day. Not to mention they got some serious killer fashion senses. They're both absolutely good-looking, physically. They were together for 4 years more or less which was not a short space of time. I've always wondered what went down with them, basically because i haven't read Alexa's The It Book, she said that some parts of the contents were about brokenhearts.

Sigh. Another British perfect combination. Suki and Miles were an item and of course they have same mutual friends, none other than Alexa and Alex. Suki and Alexa must've been associated in their big world of fashion, and Alex and Miles unite in The Last Shadow Puppets. Sometimes Miles even supports Alex for Arctic Monkeys concert, like filling in for guitar parts for the songs called 'Plastic Tramp' and '505'. Being in the same circle of friends might be a little tricky though. They both looked so cool together, both on and off duty.

Cute. They modeled for Burberry campaign along with her adorable brother, Alex. Emma also supported George for One Night Only's music video "Say You Don't Want It". Great song that one. George even licked Emma in that video. Whew so much heat. Their favourite date? Music festivals. Wasn't he lucky to date a brightest and classy girl in the world? I think he was.

They have the cutest baby boy called Flynn. It was one hell of a news when I first heard it. They said they became friends ever since (wow the dog is dead but let's keep it!). Yay way to go, people! The woman was just an ordinary pretty girl from Australia who won  GIRLFRIEND magazine modelling search, then started to fly west to east and became world's gorgeous model who married to a gentleman. Cool background story.

I just fall in love with this pair. For no reason. Indescribable. It's on the tip of my tongue though, but.

I didn't know about this in the first place but I think they were such a great old vintage couple. It's Scarlett Johansson and Jack Antonoff. They looked better in that look and look how great Jack's hair was! They were stormed by Hollywood glam after that.

Remember this dreamy girly innocent face? Marion is absolute Norwegian rose, with that snow-white skin, rosy cheeks, long dark wavy hair, and slim fit figure, not to mention her sweet angelic voice. I've been looking for the perfect person to be my writing inspiration where i can talk about beauty. Found it! From the era of her ultimate duo/girlband, M2M, with another Norwegian charmer Marit Larsen, she was quite a queen back then. She still looks like one until today, ha.

Gorgeouuuuuuuusss!!! Double. Double double double! Just look at that enviable hair and make-up. She totally pulled it off. What a genius hair and make up artist. It's even better if she's done it herself.

Just pouring her heart into music.

Simple boho-chic style on stage, along with her natural long brown hair in a middle-parting way.

Personally i always go for westerns musicians when i need to hear songs, most of the time, but sometimes they sound kinda overrated to me. So i go to these musicians for a change. For me they have very different lyrics, they can find rather unusual words or idioms, or phrases for their songs, and it really means something, something so thoughtful, deep, and beautiful. They are not new in the industry, and probably have loads of groupies or fans already, but i want to just write it down for you and i've always been their admirer.

Monty Tiwa

Well he's not really a musician actually, he's a film-maker, but he sings a song called "Kosong", which is very gloomy and has that hopelessness feeling. The lyrics can relate to everyone, i think everyone has ever felt that empty feeling in this happy yet mad rollercoaster called life even just a little bit. The simple melodies and harmonies complete the emotional feelings of the song.

Payung Teduh

This is my all time favourite! They can creatively write songs and one thing that i admire the most from them is their music arrangements. It's absolutely beautiful. They got some serious instrument skills as well. And their musics sound so Indonesian, which is amazing! Not all general musicians choose this kind of genre willingly. I'm so glad for them for making their musics sounds the way they are so they can give a different 'color' when things feel just the same these days...
I could simply write and make a list of my favourite local musicians but i think these two are my most favourite so far, so.

"Take me to church
I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your life
I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me the deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life"

Hozier is one cool dude...

It's like I was struck by lightning. I read an article on Broadsheet Australia about cereal and not just about regular cereal but POP-UP CEREAL CAFE! This is so unusual, I mean you can find or buy cereal very easily but knowing the fact that someone has a plan to open a cafe/restaurant that specifically serves cereal....? BRILLIANT. So you get to experience and taste different cereals that you rarely buy or find in just one place! I'm talking about Cereals Anytime, a cereal cafe that will open on February 12th at Swan Street Chamber of Commerce, 214 Swan Street, Richmond, Australia. Not only serving a cereal experience but it will also educate people about nutritious meals. How cool. All you Australians must be very excited about this...

You know that most people like cereal, even the hardest rockstar like Craig Nichols from The Vines would kill for cereals. Bryan Robertson, the creator of this cafe, has a very out-of-the-box idea to make a place for people to enjoy cereals and get appropriate informations about healthy meals. It's important because I think restaurants have responsibilities to give foods & beverages in a good quality, and it's better to inform people about their food's nutrition facts and stuff.

So let's go to Australia, one of the best melting pots in the world!!!
