Day 3

The last day... We decided to go to Ku De Ta for brunch. It was one sunny day.

The latest of Ku De Ta fyi

I was having smoothie consisted of raspberry, kiwi and other fruits that I didn't remember. I already had too many sweet and creamy food/drinks in Bali so I thought that having a refreshing sour treat would be the best pick. I needed Vitamin C anyway to keep me fit and healthy

This was hot cakes which was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were so moist and very delightful. The sauce were maple syrup and blueberry

-Checking out

-Went to Krisna to buy gifts

-Lunch at Wardani

-Airport; finally i got to finish watching the rest of Finding Dory

Then oh my God, it's already Jakarta.

Weeks ago, we planned a one-day trip to Bandung, just to get away from a hectic daily life and have some refreshments. Personally i was aiming for the exciting culinary adventure there.

Farmhouse

The first time we arrived in Bandung, we headed to Farmhouse. It's been so famous lately especially on Instagram. Overall the place is nice, clean and pretty.

The first passage

We had to pass through them first, the guys inspired by the Texas Chainsaw. They're not scary, just annoying ;p

I didn't really get the concept here, is it for happy family getaway or a town of terror?

I found this cute store which sold very cute handicrafts.

Pretty pretty flowers in pooots

Cute magneeets!

They have home decorations as well.

There are cages of many kinds of animals too.

Feed and play with them.

This is one of my favorite shots. The cat looks so on point!

Beehive

The first stop of our culinary trips started here.

They have giant koi fish.

This was my order for our late lunch at 2 pm. It's Monster Burger. It's so delicious and fulfilling, with tasty french fries, patty, melted cheese and giant stack of onion fritters. It's absolutely satisfying.

Overall, the place's so nice and comfy .

Arromanis

Next was this cute litte dessert shop. It sells ice creams with various toppings, delightful whoppie pies and others.

The front look.

The use so many kinds of floaties as decorations on the wall. This Tootsie Roll was one of them.

This was my order, cheese whoppie pie with fruity pebbles. God it's so good and indulging... Overall, the prices are reasonable.

It's my 9th day in Japan and our last destination was Kyoto. The idea was to try out some kimono and feel pretty.

This was what we had to go through. We walked up to the hill to find a good kimono rental store. It's kinda pricey, though. If you want to see my choice of kimono, you can see on my Instagram @fi_risa. After changing, we went straight to the temple to take some photos.

This was the view from the top of the temple. Refreshing...

After the temple trip, we went down to the local markets. And look what we found, some kind of Totoro village going on here... It's so cute, there even has a giant Totoro sitting comfortly.

Just a street in Kyoto that is so peaceful.

Then we went back to Osaka... to do some last shopping, sadly.

My last look of Osaka :'(

I was waiting for my cousin on the outside of Apple store and two girls carrying 1D Official Shop bags walked in front of me. I stopped them immediately and asked them where was this heavenly store of 1D. Then i found it. Normally i just give you this 1 teaser because i didnt have much time to take photos of the store, i was 'a bit' preoccupied.

This is Pablo, a super delicious tart shop in Shinsaibashi. I've wanted to go there the first time i saw it. I tried its chocolate tart and it tasted like heaven. One is not enough.

Just a glimpse of Osaka when i was flying to Tokyo...

I didn't come here by accident. I came here because of the BNI Emerald Cooking Experience, a cooking class event collaborated with Modena (the famous kitchen appliances company from Italy). The day before I went there, I googled the place first. It was amazing. So i had the expectation and I was fully satisfied with it.

It turned out the place was so stunning. The concept was modern minimalist with an eclectic touch. When I first entered the place, I was blown away..

This is the living room. Cozy as it looks.

You just saw the first picture, right? This beautiful painting is located on the right side of the living room. It caught my attention instantly.

This is meant to be the dining room. It's the essences of sophistication and stylishness that come simultaneously. I can imagine myself enjoying great meals and having beautiful drinks and desserts.

Now let's talk about the kitchen. This is the kitchen that, I believe, can make me to cook and bake more often. It's spacious, stylish, well-equipped, and super comfortable.

This is what I love the most about Modena Experience Center, its collections of refrigerator!

Besides wandering around, I also got the chance to get involved in the cooking class. I made this, Salmon en Croute. It's actually pretty easy. What you need to prepare is a good salmon fillet & cream cheese, then you're good to go.

Oooh the scrumptious Chocolate Molten Cake with Berry Compote made by Chef Yudha Bustara. This is out of this world!!!

I would say that OREO has eagle eyes to know the opportunities in the comfort food industry. KEEP EVOLVING, OREO! NEVER STOP EVOLVING!

Please, i want people behind this brand to stop torturing me! I read an article this morning and it informed me that Oreo has another flavor now, and it is RED VELVET! Generally Oreo in a very basic flavor is already yummy, but now it has a cream cheese filling....? I haven't tasted it though but I bet this limited edition sandwich biscuit has mouth-watering taste. Look how tempting it is!!! This would be another comfort food for me. I actually like the idea of making it limited so we won't get bored of it too easily, and the feeling that will come with it when we have it for the first time, so amazing, and you feel so satisfied. I hope it's available in Indonesia, can't wait to bite it, munch it while I sip a plain milk at the same time...joyful time. A quote 'Bahagia itu sederhana' is totally true.
Well if you are out of patience to taste the incredible Red Velvet Oreo, you can get creative with Original Oreo itself! Just mix it with red velvet mixtures or something. At least you will get the taste of red velvet+Oreo simultaneously. Look at the image above, pretty delish right? It's fluffy, soft, gooey, creamy, heaven's in your mouth...
